Readme.txt for Celis control This document explains how to work with setup files for Celis control. We strongly advise that only trained users of the Celis software make changes to the setup files. By working with setup files the Celis control Main PCB can be upgraded to some degree of setup from version 2.14 and 4.01 where it is possoble to download setting if the Panel is not connected! Principle of setup file: The setup file system is built up of 523 programme lines on which they all have an address. All the lines are defined as: first an address, then a value and finally a description of the address, ex.: 001 1 : FILM_IN_SENSOR // 0 = US/Mek, 1-3 = amount of IR, 4 = from primary Which will mean address no. 1, which has the value 1 equal to 1 sensor mounted. All setup.txt files end with address no. 0 and the definition in the setup file, ex.: 006 0 : DUMMY 0 0 : END OF DATA (do not delete) 0 = OFF/DISABLED 1 = ON/ENABLED 255 = OFF IF TIME A setup file does only have to contain the address of which a change has to be made! Do not make changes to any of the setup files except for the following: For service use it is only advised to make changes to the setup file: "Program 1 parmeters with motor calibrations.txt" This file is only to be used if: The main pcb has to be setup without a panel connected. It is then possible to make simple adjustments to the temperature, replenish settings and speed. Please note that the dev. time value is not a calibrated value. Therefore 35 dev/sec. may be 30 dev/sec. The value of address 252 may have to be changed a few times before the wished dev time is available. Operating the processor through this programme is to be considered temporary until a panel is connected. When the panel is connected the processor should be calibrated as by a normal setup. Repair of damaged setup file. If the power has been disconnected during an update the setup file saved in the Celis control can be corrupted. To regenerate the setup file the setup file "init.txt" should be transferred followed by the on-line file equal to the part number of the processor, ex. "464800.txt" The use of setup files is not supported by Echo Graphic. This information is only intended as a service to customers who wish to have the processor running until a new panel arrives. 27 August 2002 Michael M. Rasmussen Service Manager Echo Graphic A/S
